Ski– Grand Targhee Resort is a year round mountain resort situated on the western slope of the Tetons in Alta, Wyoming, accessible only through Teton Valley, Idaho. Music on main-Once a week for eight weeks, on a warm summer night, bring your lawn chair and enjoy a free concert in downtown Victor City Park. Food and beverages are sold by local vendors. This is an experience that you don’t want to miss.
Music festivals-Teton Valley offers several music festivals in the summer. Targhee Fest and Bluegrass Festival to name a few.
Ice skate –Ice skate at the Kotler Ice Arena in Victor. Friday Night Ice is family-friendly night of skating with live music and libations. A great way to “Chill-out”.

Fishing –Reservoirs, mountain streams, Teton River, and alpine lakes offer a wide variety of opportunities for fishing. A fishing license is required to fish in Idaho. There are many outfitters that offer guided fishing tours.

Rodeos- Spend a summer evening watching or participating in a fun-filled rodeo, once a week for 8-10 weeks at the Driggs fairgrounds.
Figure 8 Races- Don’t miss this exciting evening of figure 8 races at the Driggs fairgrounds. During fair week, drivers compete in the figure 8 course while trying to avoid being crashed into. Now featuring a powder puff heat for the ladies.
Horseback riding- The old west is alive and well in Idaho where there are several ranches and outfitters that offer trail rides through the miles of trails in Teton Valley or explore on your own the scenic valley.

Hot Air Balloon Races- Over the 4th of July, come watch as pilots set up and fly the colorful balloons. Rides are also available for the adventurous.

Golf- There are several courses to choose from in Teton Valley. There are several public courses and also a few private golf courses. Targhee Village is a 9-hole community course. Teton Reserve Golf Course is an 18-hole Hale Irwin Designed public course. Teton Springs and Huntsman are private golf courses.
Nordic skiing- Set out cross country or try one the many groomed cross country trails.
Alta-6 miles, easy to more challenging trails, dogs permitted.
Teton Canyon-8 miles, easy linear trail along a creek, dogs permitted.
